What We Believe

We believe in the one and only true God, whose essence is comprised of three unique personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He created the universe and everything in it, including mankind, and He desires to have a relationship with each person on earth.

We believe that anyone and everyone can have a relationship with God through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Everyone who commits their life to being a follower of Jesus, in the way that the Bible teaches, can be saved and live eternally in heaven with God.

We believe that God became a man, and His name was Jesus. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and was raised from the dead after being entombed for three days. After His resurrection, hundreds of people witnessed that He was alive!

We believe that the Bible is God’s authoritative word, and has been given to us as our source for truth and instruction in this life. We seek to not only believe in what the Bible says, but also apply its principles and concepts to our everyday lives.

We believe that God desires that we commit our lives to Him by believing in Jesus, confessing that He is Lord of our lives, repenting of our sins, and being immersed in water in His name for the forgiveness of sins. When we are baptized into Christ, we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit as a deposit on our future with Him!

We believe that Jesus will return to Earth one day to redeem all of God’s creation. We are to live our lives in such a way that when He returns, we will be unashamed of the lives we have lived.  We live with the hope and assurance that our citizenship is in heaven with Him, where we will spend eternity!
